I would like to share my feedback regarding my recent Telehealth appointment experience, which has been quite stressful and disappointing overall. Firstly, I would like to clarify that this feedback is not related to the doctor. She was helpful and professional as always, and I appreciate her support. However, the entire process—from booking the appointment to the current delay in receiving my medication—has been extremely unorganized. I had booked an appointment for 18:20 hrs and was informed by the agent that I would receive a consent form between 17:50 and 18:00 hrs. Unfortunately, I did not receive any communication during that time and had to call back myself at 18:15 hrs to check on the status. I was then transferred to the branch, where they were not even aware of my appointment, despite me having received an SMS confirmation. This delay took an additional 10–15 minutes, which meant my appointment time had already passed. After finally completing the consent process, I received the doctor’s call at around 18:40 hrs. Following the consultation, I was informed that the pharmacy would contact me the next day to arrange delivery of my medication. However, I did not receive any communication. I had to once again follow up by calling the contact center, only to be transferred multiple times between different pharmacies in Sharjah. Each time, I was redirected elsewhere, as no one seemed to have clarity on the Telehealth process. Eventually, I was informed that the request would be transferred to Zero 6 Mall Pharmacy and that I would be contacted shortly. It has now been quite some time, and I am still waiting for any update or delivery confirmation. Overall, this experience has been far from helpful. Instead of a seamless Telehealth service, I have had to repeatedly follow up myself just to get basic updates on my medication. I am extremely dissatisfied with the service and request that this matter be looked into urgently to prevent similar experiences for other patients.

The Pharmacist (Ancy) is very slow and inconsiderate. My baby was complaining about his stomach hurts and vommitted at home so we to Prime Clinic for check up. The doctor prescribed Dompy to take immediately in the clinic and observe him 15-30 mins if he continues to vomit. The nurse told us to collect the medicine in the pharmacy to give it to my son on the clinic as per doctor advised. My husband waited and came back and forth telling the nurse that the pharmacist did not call his name to give attend immediately so we can have the medicine and give to our son immediately. The nurse said she called Ancy already to hand over the medicine immediate for we need it to treat my son in the clinic. When I was the one to go to the pharmacy instead, I told her that my son needed already the medicine and my husband came there several times but she did not called his name to attend first for it’s urgently care for my son’s health. Andy told me that we have to wait for she is still attending another customer and needs insurance approval. After my son took the medicine, he vomitted again so the doctor prescribed the injection that needs to go back to the pharmacy and undergo same procedure to wait and approved by the insurance before my baby have the injection. After the injection, the nurse told us that doctor gave oral solution to be taken at home which needs again to go back to the pharmacy to take same process. Your process in the clinic and pharmacy is killing the patient. Please check your standard of procedures for the communication and delivery of in-clinic treatments. For the patients needs immediate attention and assistance however patient needs to come back and forth to your pharmacy and clinic with miscommunication between the nurses and pharmacist. No one care about the time that my son needed already the medication and instead of apologizing they are pointing each other who’s not giving the proper advice.

I went on 13/5 without an appointment because I had severe ear pain and it felt completely blocked. I asked the receptionist to see an ENT, and she told me he wasn’t accepting walk-ins. What really disappointed me was the complete lack of empathy, even after I explained I was in pain. She could have explained me that in a much more understanding way. Because of that, I went to Prime at Terminal 3, where indeed, they told me I had an ear infection and advised to see an ENT for an ear cleaning procedure. The earliest appointment I could get was on Saturday, on the nearest prime to my house, Zero 6. I came back on 16/5 for my appointment with Dr. Shery. When I arrived, the same receptionist attended me again with the same uncooperative and unfriendly attitude, and sent me directly to the doctor’s room. Once there, the doctor told me I should have gone to the nurse first, which again showed a lack of communication and coordination from receptionist. During the consultation, the doctor examined me and proceeded to perform the ear cleaning procedure right away. After it was done, she informed me that it wasn’t covered by my insurance and that I had to pay for it. I believe this is something that should have been clearly communicated beforehand. At that point, I was not given any alternative, so I went ahead with the payment. After checking with my insurance, it should have been covered. They are asking me for the invoice, and I checked my email because they would always send it to me in other prime centers, but the only email I found is this one. Asking me for the feedback. Overall, this has been very difficult to deal with, and I’m really disappointed. This is the closest Prime center to me, and I wouldn’t like to go through this kind of experience every time I need medical assistance.

I had a very disappointing experience at Prime Medical Centre, BurJuman. I stay in Dubai Hills and visited this branch only based on a doctor recommendation from a relative. My appointment was at 17:15, and as advised, I arrived early at 16:45. I was also the first patient in line. While the first nurse took my vitals, I had to remind her to take my temperature, which should be a basic and standard step. I eventually saw the doctor only at 17:30, despite being the first appointment. Post consultation, I was informed that certain tests required insurance approval. I clearly told the nurse to proceed regardless, as I was prepared to pay if not approved—especially since the scan required a full bladder and I was already uncomfortable. Despite this, there was no sense of urgency or accommodation from the staff. As expected, approvals did not come through for all tests, but the handling was very rigid and unhelpful. On top of this, payment processing took another 30 minutes. Throughout this entire time, neither the nurse nor the doctor checked in to see if I was okay or needed assistance. The whole experience felt extremely transactional rather than patient-focused. In the end, despite spending significant time there, I had to leave at 18.45 after 2 hrs ordeal without completing the tests—even after approvals and payments were initiated—which is unacceptable. This branch seriously needs to improve coordination, responsiveness, and basic patient care standards.

Dear prime teams, I am writing to express my serious dissatisfaction regarding the repeated and unacceptable delays in issuing my sick leave certificate at Prime Medical Center Al Qusais. This is not an isolated incident. The same issue has occurred multiple times, which clearly indicates a pattern of inefficiency and lack of accountability in your administrative processes. Despite completing consultations and complying with all requirements, I am repeatedly left waiting for a document that should be issued promptly and without complication. Such delays are not only unprofessional but also directly impact my professional commitments, putting me in a difficult position with my employer due to no fault of my own. It is unacceptable that patients must repeatedly follow up for something that is a basic part of your service. I expect my sick leave certificate to be issued immediately without any further delay. Additionally, I require a clear explanation for these recurring lapses and concrete steps your management will take to ensure this does not happen again. Please be advised that if this matter is not resolved urgently, I will escalate the complaint to the relevant health authorities and formally raise concerns regarding the standard of administrative services provided.

I am writing this feedback regarding my recent experience at Prime Medical, Arabian Center branch. On Friday night, I developed a painful lump on the right side of my breast with a rash. I saw Dr. Maysa, who prescribed Augmentin and arranged an ultrasound. After no improvement over the weekend, the ultrasound confirmed an infection. On Monday, I consulted the surgeon, Dr. Radhia, who advised that Augmentin was not suitable. She prescribed Cefutil and Metrolag. My insurance did not cover Cefutil due to the prior Augmentin prescription, so I had to pay out of pocket. Dr. Radhia mentioned that ideally, the gynecologist should have referred me directly to her, as the lump was within her field of expertise. What could have been resolved over the weekend led to my situation worsening. I had to take DHA medical leave on Tuesday and Wednesday to rest and was unable to teach. This resulted in unnecessary costs, wasted time, and added stress. I hope this feedback helps improve future care and communication.
