I have been consulting Dr. Sanjay Bhat for roughly three and half years including undergoing a procedure in April 2026 for my enlarged prostate. Throughout my treatment, he has been extremely understanding, efficient, and reassuring during every consultation. His professionalism and patient care are truly exceptional.

Dr Sanjay is amazing doctor . I came to him with two stents in my body and lot of pain, I was not able to urinate. He handled my case very carefully, I was not happy with previous doctor but Doctor Sanjay's approach was completely different. I really like his thoughtful process, he is very experienced in Urology. He made sure that I don't suffer with pain anymore. He did my surgery and removed both stents, entire process was painless. I will highly recommend him.

Dr Sanjay is by far one of the most knowledgeable and empathetic doctor I met in my journey of meeting multiple docs and hospitals- first going from forming a stone, to developing a stricture in my ureter due to a laser procedure not done well maybe at another hospital by my first doctor. The stricture led to a series of GA procedures and stents for 2.5 years almost and stones being removed. And then I met Dr Sanjay at Al Zahra who explained to me that I need to go through the stricture correction procedure in my ureter (Ureteroureterostomy) to widen the passage. Earlier we had already made an attempt to do so by ballooning stents. Anyways the bottom line is that thanks to the good advise by Dr Sanjay - after the investigations we decided to go through the laparoscopic procedure for stricture correction followed by a stent for a small duration of time. I am happy to say that finally after 2..5 years, 7 stents under GA, down the road by two earlier docs & hospitals - I am free of stone and stents now to lead a normal life. Stone formation is usually taken lightly I guess but people who go through this will understand that mentally and physically it’s a draining and time consuming process. So good advise and right doc is a must like anything else. I highly recommend Dr Sanjay for anyone having kidney stones getting stuck in the ureter. This is my second long review to ensure I complete story of treatment after the first one. And for any patients to benefit from.
