Abbington House

This was my first rehab… I was out of options & out of hope..what I found here at Abbington house was the opposite of judgement.. I found people who believed I could heal before I believed in myself… they showed me guidance & compassion

I’d seen the excellent reviews and was attracted by the dual nature of the approach. Highly experienced staff who have a passion for recovery. It is well paced and different activities. I’ve learnt a lot not just about dealing with addiction but the wider aspects of well-being. The food is top notch and the atmosphere is non judgmental. The help didn’t end when I’d recovered, the post care support is comprehensive also.

I highly recommend Abbington house to anyone struggling with addiction.From the minute I got there I was treated with love and compassion from the staff and fellow housemates..I’m leaving now and it has set me up for the future and give me to tools to live my life free from addiction.They also support you through aftercare.If you or a family member/friend are thinking of coming here do not hesitate you will not be disappointed

I come into Abbington House a broken person and with hard work from myself, the help of my therapist Costa and all the staff I am able to leave here a changed man. I’m more emotional secure within myself, I have managed to let go of resentment and grief that has plagued my life for the past 20 years. No words can describe how grateful I am to the team at Abbington house. A literally life changing experience

Abington house is a very welcoming and soothing environment. I have learned much about recovery and myself through the hard work and excellence of the staff. I have been shown the road to recovery and how I can help myself to achieve sobriety in a way I never previously understood.

Honestly can’t put into words what Abbington House Rehab has done for me. I came in broken, lost and genuinely thought my life was heading one way… and I’m leaving feeling like I’ve actually got a future again. The staff are unreal, they genuinely care and they understand addiction on a level that makes you finally feel seen instead of judged. Every single member of staff made me feel comfortable from day one, especially when I was at my lowest and didn’t even want to be around people. The support, patience and effort they put into every person there is something I’ll never forget. They don’t just help you get sober, they help you find yourself again. The place itself is beautiful, calm and safe, but it’s the people inside it that make it special. I’ve laughed again, slept properly again, started believing in myself again and for the first time in a long time I actually want my life back. Probably my best decision ever.

Great place. Helped me open up to understand why maybe I was addicted to alcohol and drugs. Made me reconnect spiritually and joining the 12 step programme, know i am on the right path to my 12 step recovery and the best version of myself. Mikey and the rest of the team were great and Marion’s cooking is top notch

Abbington house has changed my life. Every single member of staff are incredible and the fact that each of them fully understood my illness/addiction only amplified my recovery. The food provided was to restraunt standard, the activies of yoga, swimming, sound therapy, gym and reiki was a great part of my physical recovery. I was at an emotional low going into Abbing house. Abbington has taught me to smile again, and be present with my family.
