About Life Works
About
Life Works House, part of Priory, is a welcoming 17-bed residential addiction treatment service based in Old Woking, Surrey. It is home to Flourish, an innovative, therapy-led addiction treatment programme offering tailored support for a wide range of addictions in a calm, comfortable and non-medical environment.
Flourish is delivered by experienced therapists and is designed for people who do not require medical detox or ongoing medical care, but who benefit from structured therapy, peer support and practical tools to support lasting recovery.
Life Works House offers evidence-based psychological support with carefully measured outcomes, a high-quality service at a more accessible price point, and a dedicated family care programme. With a strong sense of community, the service provides a peaceful space away from everyday pressures and forms part of Priory’s wider network of residential addiction treatment services across the UK.
Treatment overview
- Therapy-led residential addiction treatment in a non-medical setting

- Treatment available as 14, 28 or 42-day stays (longer stays available where needed)

- Free, no-obligation addiction assessment before admission

I spent 26 days within the Lifeworks residential, I can honestly say it surpassed all expectations. ALL therapy and support staff were caring, knowledgeable and most importantly, genuine. The environment gave a feeling of safety, whilst being challenged for the right reasons. I stayed 26 days and can honestly say without this residential my life would be in a much different place to what it is now. I life feeling positive, well equipped to handle whats ahead and supported post lifeworks. I do think its valuable for potential admissions for me to mention the importance of wanting to seek help and wanting to take advantage of the opportunity with Lifeworks. This is not a magic potion or instant fix (Sadly), so an open mind and real willingness to let your guard down is needed in my opinion. The team do a brilliant job and should be really proud of what they are doing down in Woking!

It's lovely sitting in my office and the dogs come up for a stroke. Makes the service a warm and homely environment
Becoming pet friendly has made a lovely work environment for staff as well as the clients who love spending there downtime playing with the dogs that are here at the moment
