Prof. Sinclair made me feel heard, gave me time to explain my concerns, and validated my pain and experiences. She was the first example of a medical professional who didn’t suggest that I should expect some pain and headaches as a woman in her forties, and didn’t pitch my significant pain as being caused by anxiety, rather than anxiety being an understandable effect of my continual pain and fatigue.
