My life has been changed by Mr Amr and I can never thank him enough. From the first meeting I felt very comfortable and relaxed. Everything was explained to me and all questions answered. I would recommend him to anyone.

Thank you for sharing your experience
Removal of gallbladder, I had a very understanding approach leading up to my operation which was made clear to me and made me more relaxed , the follow up visit after the operation was reassuring as well

Great to hear that you had good experience
The surgeon was very good and came to see me for a chat before the surgery. Bassem was amazing. However, after the surgery, when I came out of recovery, I did not feel that I was given enough information. Everything happened very quickly, and when I got back home I felt a bit confused about what I needed to do next. After coming out of recovery, I was left on my own for some time. I was provided with a drink and food, but only when I asked. I also wish someone had spoken with me after the surgery to reassure me that everything had gone well, that everything was okay, and that there was nothing to worry about. Overall, the care from the surgeon and Bassem was excellent, but I feel the aftercare and communication following recovery could have been better, especially around explaining what to do once I got home.

Thank you for the feedback and wish you safe and speedy recovery
Absolutely fabulous staff from the moment I walked into the department to the moment I left. Everyone was brilliant — from the HCA team who made me a cracking cup of tea, to the nursing staff who carried out the pre ops both on the day unit and in the pre‑op room. The Consultant was clear and informative about the operation, and the Consultant Anaesthetist took the time to explain both the general anaesthetic and the epidural in a way that really put me at ease. Couldn’t have asked for better care. Thank you
