I attended Dr Shaw's clinic for investigation into ongoing vestibular dysfunction. Dr Shaw and his colleague were super engaging, informative, attentive, empathetic and helpful. Dr Shaw took time to understand the issue, and explained very clearly the likely cause and the prognosis. Tests were undertaken on the visit to thoroughly understand the condition and the best next steps. It was comforting to be dealing with an expert in the field who is clearly interested in helping achieve the best outcome for his patients. I recommend Dr Shaw very highly.

After specifically researching and 'headhunting' the best specialist for my complex balance and hearing issues, I can say that finding Dr. Benjamin Shaw was the best decision I could have made. From the moment I met him, this warm and smiling professional put me completely at ease. His knowledge in Audiovestibular medicine and Neuro-otology is clearly second to none, but what truly sets him apart is his ability to listen. He gave me the time and space to explain exactly what I was experiencing—something I hadn't found elsewhere—and discussed my symptoms in depth before setting out a clear investigative programme. I was particularly struck by how he understands the intricate link between physical balance and psychological wellbeing; he treats the person, not just the pathology. The investigations, including Videonystagmography (VNG) and Video Head Impulse Testing (vHIT), were incredibly thorough. Dr. Shaw explained every detail and result with great depth and zero pressure. For the first time, I have a formal treatment plan and a genuine feeling that I am finally 'getting somewhere.' Beyond his high-level clinical skills, Dr. Shaw is incredibly observant, compassionate, and attentive to detail. His response times are prompt, and his offer of ongoing support feels genuine and grounded. If you are struggling with vestibular or hearing issues, I cannot recommend him highly enough. Thank you, Dr. Shaw, for your exceptional care.

Dr Shaw is a first class practitioner. For the first in 15 years I actually felt like someone understood my journey and the ongoing challenges. I would have no hesitation in recommending him. I only wish that there were more specialists in this sector and that I had found him sooner !

I met Ben originally while he was working at the Royal National ENT and Eastman Dental Hospitals in the Neuro-otology department. Patients always mentioned his calm and patient approach in a high pressure environment. This is partly why he was such a success but he also has extremely specialist training and a wealth of experience. I'm very pleased to receive his referrals for audio-vestibular assessments as I know our patients will be well looked after.
