Ms Christine Board

Christine Board is a qualified cognitive behavioural therapist and EMDR practitioner who has expanded her practice beyond her initial training to incorporate a variety of therapeutic modalities. She draws on a diverse range of approaches, selecting the methods that best align with her clients' needs.

Christine’s therapy is rooted in a person-centred approach, where she builds the therapeutic process around each individual client. Her practice is characterised by its relational nature, offering a warm, friendly, and safe environment where clients can work through their emotional challenges in collaboration with her. She focuses on understanding how clients’ moods and feelings are influenced by their thoughts and behaviours. This approach helps clients achieve tangible, measurable changes in their lives, enabling them to gain new perspectives and make positive strides forward.

Christine joined Priory in December 2020. Her professional experience spans various mental health settings, including NHS England, employment assistance programs, her own private psychotherapy practice, and clinical supervision. Additionally, she has taught an introduction to counselling skills course at Network Counselling and Training.
