Performs over double the annual volume of the average UK cataract surgeon according to recent NOD data, with 1,000+ procedures spanning cataract surgery, YAG capsulotomy for PCO, retinal laser, and intravitreal injections and steroid implants (Eylea, Vabysmo, Ozurdex) for AMD, diabetic macular oedema, and retinal vein occlusions.

• Medical Retina: I specialise in diagnosing and managing a wide range of retinal conditions, including age-related macular degeneration (AMD), diabetic retinopathy, and retinal vein occlusions. My practice integrates cutting-edge imaging technologies and advanced treatments, such as intravitreal injections and implants and retinal laser therapy, to deliver precise and effective care.
• Uveitis: With extensive experience in managing inflammatory eye diseases, I offer comprehensive care for patients with uveitis, ensuring long-term management of complex conditions.
• Cataract Surgery: As an additional service, I provide cataract surgery using microincision, sutureless techniques and premium intraocular lenses (IOLs) to deliver excellent visual outcomes tailored to individual needs.

Training and Experience

I completed my Ophthalmology Specialist Training in the West Midlands Deanery, followed by Advanced Subspecialty Training in Medical Retina at Wolverhampton Eye Infirmary and Birmingham and Midland Eye Centre. This was complemented by a prestigious fellowship in Medical Retina and Uveitis at Moorfields Eye Hospital, where I refined my skills in managing complex and challenging retinal conditions.

I hold undergraduate medical degrees from the University of Oxford and the University of London, which laid a strong foundation for my medical and clinical knowledge. This academic background, combined with extensive training in ophthalmology, allows me to provide expert care and advanced treatments for retinal diseases and cataracts.
