About Dr Chris Steadman
Dr Steadman graduated from the University of Bristol and stayed in Bristol to complete his MRCP. He moved to Birmingham for specialist training in Cardiology including 4 years at tertiary cardiac centres, including the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham. He also spent 2 and half years as a clinical research fellow for the British Heart Foundation and National Institute for Health Research, at the Leicester Cardiovascular Biomedical Research Unit. He was awared his research degree, Doctor of Medicine (MD), from the Univerity of Leicester. He is also now a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians.
He is an expert in Advanced Cardiovascular Imaging, including CT coronary angiography, cardiac MRI, and all forms of echocardiography (transthoracic, stress, bubble and transoesophageal). He is accredited with national and international societies for these techniques, and was one of the first in the UK to gain Level 3 Accreditation in cardiac MRI from the European Society of Cardiology. He also has Level 3 Accreditation in cardiac CT from the British Society of Cardiovascular Imaging, and is one of the few specialists to hold this in addition to MRI.
As an imaging specialist he is an expert in diagnosis and sees patients with a wide range of symptoms including chest pain, breathlessness, palpitations and blackouts.

I went to Dr Steadman for a privately organised CT angiogram. He was professional, clear and easy to talk with. He was very punctual both for the initial and follow-up consultations. It was also very easy to find a convenient time and date for both the consultations and the angiogram itself. His admin assistant, Hannah is also very responsive.
I recently saw Dr Steadman regarding chest pains, wanting to have reassurance that it was nothing serious. After seeing Dr Steadman I feel reassured that the chest pains are likely muscular related rather than something more serious and appreciate the thorough examination that he undertook

Dr Steadman was excellent. He explained things very clearly and thoroughly and listened to my concerns and answered everything. I was totally reassured, I highly recommend Dr Steadman.
Very patient, undertaking all necessary tests to confirm his diagnosis. Dr Steadman provided detailed yet plain English answers to my questions.
I have seen Dr Steadman recently and I cannot thank him enough of how well he has dealt with my care and health. He explains things so well and is very reassuring. I would highly recommend seeing Dr Steadman if you have any concerns. Thank you again.
