I urgently needed iron infusion during my third trimester of pregnancy, and many of the haematologists or clinics that I spoke to were unable to help me with this urgent request. Dr Newman and his PA Jude helped me with navigating the difficult situation - they contacted different hospitals and managed to arrange a hospital to admit me. Felt relaxed during my appointment and able to completely go through how I had been feeling, not rushed and found Dr Newman to be compassionate and understanding, the process of the need of blood tests and a CT scan was explained fully - really felt at ease with Dr Newman and left feeling a little less anxious than I had been feeling of late.
