About Dr. Ferhat Uddin
Dr Ferhat Uddin is an experienced General Practitioner with more than 20 years experience, and a Menopause Specialist accredited by the British Menopause Society. She currently sees patients at Liberty Health. Liberty Health Clinics provides online consultations with menopause doctors and was created through her vision to make menopause care accessible to all.
Dr Uddin qualified from King's College and Guy's & St Thomas' Medical School in 2004. She has many years of experience in general practice, including the treatment of acute and chronic conditions. After completing the Diploma in Women's Health, she went on to do the advanced training certifcate with the British Menopause Society, and practical training at Guy's Menopause Clinic. She continues to practice in Liberty Health Clinics seeing patients with menopausal symptoms and complex histories. Dr Uddin has specialist expertise in intrauterine coil fitting, which she sometimes advises as part of hormone replacement therapy for women needing replacement of hormones due to troublesome symptoms.
Dr Uddin takes a keen interest in teaching and mentoring and is a regular speaker at the Epsom Hospital for GP trainees as well as a GP Appraiser for NHS England.
