I was seen by Mr Murphy after breaking my hand, and I cannot speak highly enough of the care I received. He saw me within 24 hours and had me in theatre within 48 - all while knowing I needed to fly abroad the following day. The speed and coordination of my care, including arranging hand therapy, was exceptional. The surgical result has been outstanding. The scar is remarkably neat and, most importantly, I have full function of my hand. That reflects a level of skill and attention to detail that I am genuinely grateful for. His bedside manner was warm and reassuring throughout. I would not hesitate to recommend Mr Murphy to anyone needing a hand & plastic surgeon.

Mr Murphy aka George has looked after my daughter post operatively for the past 15 months as her regular surgeon has been on sabbatical. We cannot thank him enough for the care he has given her which has included 2 follow up proceedures to her main operation (which he assisted on). He always explains things so our daughter is fully involved in her care and any decisions that need to be taken are made in the spirit of genuine partnership between us, him and her. Our daughter adores him as he (in her words) makes her laugh even when she is grumpy after surgery. This has included bandaging her snuggly elephants foot so they had matching bandages and drawing a smiley face on her 'tinger' (toe finger) which she promptly named Bob! Behind the smiles is a highly skilled professional who is able to reassure parents and children alike. We have particularly appreciated the measured way in which further surgical decisions have been taken and trust his advice and judgement implicitly. As a family we would highly recommend his care and expertise.
