Mr Manjit Mehat is a professional, reassuring, and caring specialist. He provides clear explanations for various eye procedures. Patients feel at ease during treatment and value Mr Mehat's availability for questions and post-operative advice. His practice is highly regarded for successful cataract treatment and associated surgical interventions.
On arriving at the hospital I was nervous but was treated well and put at ease by all the staff I met. I was informed at each step about my treatment before the operation. After the op I was given all the information to aid recovery.
I had to wait quite a long time, not knowing when things would happen.
I was lucky enough to be able to have Manjit Mehat as my surgeon for a macular hole and cataract operation. I have the highest praise for how he treated me. He is a people person with a warm and empathetic manner. He explains everything in a calm but thorough way. The trust he engendered was very welcome . He is an excellent surgeon and I am very pleased with the outcome.
Relaxed atmosphere every step of the way. All staff friendly and attentive.
Great experience and the staff were all lovely and put me at ease. I wish I had done it sooner.
This is my second visit to Mr Mehat and it was faultless. You are made welcome, well informed and put at ease before and after the procedure . Mr Mehat also rescheduled my appointment due to a family bereavement and I can't thank him enough for that.
I found everything very satisfactory from the initial visit right through until the operation and follow up. I was anxious about being awake but I had no need to worry as it was pain free and I felt very relaxed throughout the procedure. I would recommend Mr Mehat and his team to anyone thinking of having a cataract op.
Looked after very well -before and during operation. This was delayed several hours (due to earlier medical problems) but kept informed and comfortable.
Mr Mehat's administrative, nursing and surgical teams were very efficient. Thank you to all.
I had catarct surgery at Spire. All the team working with Mr Manjit were friendly, professional and reassuring. I felt I was very well looked after.
With his training and research background he could have established himself anywhere, and Edinburgh is very lucky to have snapped him up.
