Miss Melissa Swift

Miss Melissa Swift is a highly qualified Specialist ADHD/ASD Practitioner and Independent Non-medical Prescriber, dedicated to supporting neurodiverse individuals. Her academic journey began with a BA (Hons) in Applied Social Sciences from the University of York graduating in 2010. She then transitioned into healthcare, earning a Post Graduate Degree in Mental Health Nursing from Sheffield Hallam University in 2017, following work with adults with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour.

With a passion for neurodiversity, Miss Swift completed extensive specialist training to become a diagnostician. This includes postgraduate certificates in Autism and Asperger's Syndrome (Sheffield Hallam, 2020), and specific training in the ADOS, ADI-R, and DISCO for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), alongside DIVA-5 training for Adult ADHD.

Miss Swift further enhanced her clinical capabilities by completing her Non-Medical Prescribing Level 7 in 2023, enabling her to provide comprehensive diagnostic, therapeutic, and pharmacological treatment. She possesses vast experience across NHS and private settings, specialising in Adult ADHD and ASD, with additional expertise in psychosocial support and working with transgender and diverse communities.
