Mr Malik was concerned that he would try and give me the best possible outcomes. He and his team ensured I was well informed. To help me decide what was the best option for me and then following the procedure the follow up was thorough.

I had been suffering for five months with sciatica from a reherniated disc. Previous surgery with a Orthopaedic surgeon was successful 6 years prior but unfortunately had a relapse. I researched neurosurgeons and wanted to see the best and found Mr Malik. He was able to perform a minimally invasive transformial endsocopic disectomy and also remove some previous scar tissue that had built up from the previous operation. I woke and within a few hours was pain free from sciatica. I will forever be grateful for Mr Malik and his team for giving me my life back again and being able to get back to my young family.

My experience with Mr Malik has been very good. He listened to my issues at the very beginning and made myself & my wife feel confident that he’ll get my issues sorted. The surgery couldn’t of gone any better and the recovery process so far has been far better than expected.

C6/7 disc replacement surgery by Mr Malik was uneventful (exactly as it should be) and feels like an instant fix to a problem that hadn’t responded fully to more conservative treatment (injection, physio; also with Mr Malik). Single night in hospital and 0 pain from the procedure. Clear concise advice from Mr Malik before during and after.

Mr Malik has been great, explained everything clearly and tried to avoid surgery until it was absolutely necessary. He’s always been very professional and I’m feeling much better as a result of his treatment.

Dr Irfan Malik performed surgery on my mum’s back one week ago. Before this, she had several painkilling injections, but unfortunately they didn’t provide lasting relief, and she was really struggling with mobility due to sciatica. It’s still very early in the recovery process, but the improvement so far has been genuinely impressive. My mum is now walking with minimal pain, and most of the discomfort she has is from the surgery itself rather than the original issue. The pain she previously had down her leg has almost completely gone, which has made a huge difference to her comfort and ability to move around. We’re really pleased with how things are progressing and grateful for the care she’s received. Hopefully this continues, and I’ll aim to provide a further update in a few months once we can see the longer-term results.
