Mr Mark Broadbent is professional, clear, and reassuring with patients, explaining procedures thoroughly. Patients frequently experience successful outcomes from various interventions, including steroid injections, carpal tunnel surgery, and Dupuytren's contracture treatments, valuing his surgical skills and the detailed explanations provided. Some patients mention consultations feeling rushed or communication being abrupt. Common reasons for consultation and successful intervention include Dupuytren's Contracture and Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.
Mark ws very professional and clear with his explanation and the way forward for my treatment.
I returned to Ross Hall Hospital and to Mr. Broadbent after a few years since my initial procedure for a trigger finger. I had been suffering and was on an NHS waiting list for almost a year, having been advised that another injection was not feasible as it could result in rupture, although injections can sometimes still provide relief while surgery offers the longer-term solution. Mr Broadbent once again took the time to explain the options, including the pros and cons of each approach, and allowed me to make informed choices about the pathway for my care. What I particularly value about him has been his consistent bedside manner, as well as his responsiveness to my queries out of hours, even after several years had passed since our initial encounter. I would not hesitate to recommend Mr Broadbent and Ross Hall Hospital for care. In a healthcare environment where patients can sometimes feel overlooked, I left feeling listened to, reassured, and with the strong sense that care genuinely came first.
Dr. Broadbent was very thorough and clear when giving me my consultation. As someone who suffers from health anxiety, I came away feeling very reassured.
Very clear explanation of my problem and what would be required to hopefully improve matters.
A great initial chat that answered some questions that I’ve had for many years. Encouraging to know that the issues should be able to be identified.
I was scheduled for a fasciectomy procedure which I was nervous about. The procedure was very professional by Mark and the anaesthetist who both made me feel at ease. The surgery was painless. I would visit Mark in future if my Dupytrens returns.
