Mr Simon Horgan is a kind, professional, patient, and clear communicator, inspiring confidence in his patients. Patients value his expertise in cataract surgery, which leads to significant vision improvement and offers complete freedom from spectacles. Many commend his thorough explanations about procedures and lens options, along with excellent support from his team, providing a smooth experience. Patients report excellent, life-changing visual outcomes after their cataract treatments.
I came in with a long-term condition which I have tried to manage myself with support from doctors and optometrists. The standard treatments have not worked well for me, so I booked this appointment to get some specialist, bespoke support. The advice I received was very generic (would be the first thing to come up in a Google search of my condition) and therefore I have already tried the suggested treatments. When I raised my concern about this I felt dismissed. A very perfunctory physical exam was completed and the entire appointment took less than 20 minutes. I have received better treatment from a free eye examination offered by the NHS.

I am sorry you weren't satisfied with your consultation. We always allow time for the patient to explain the problem and to examine the eyes. Some problems are chronic and difficult to cure instantly, as your case typified. With appropriate advice it can usually improve and I encouraged you to continue with the recommended treatment. As always, I ask for feedback after a few weeks so that therapy can be altered or added to if necessary.
Excellent service. The condition and the upcoming procedure was very clearly explained to me. The procedure itself was professionally delivered and the outcome was outstanding. The aftercare was also discussed in detail and a result the recovery time was minimal.

Thank you for sharing this lovely review. It means a lot to know that patients are satisfied with their treatment and outcome.
Mr Horgan gave me first class professional care following damage to my eyes from chemical ingress. I would recommend him to anyone seeking the highest level of ophthalmic expertise.

1st class care from Simon and his team. Really pleased with the results of the new lenses.

Wonderful to hear. Thank you.
Just had my final visit for my corrective eye surgery and from start to finish the care and attention to detail was excellent. Really pleased with the results and enjoying the benefits of not wearing glasses anymore.
Mr Horgan is professional and was very thorough in his medical explanations of my symptoms which were pitched such that I could understand. Also there was time spent explaining symptoms which should not be ignored.

We are very happy that you felt listened to and that things were explained thoroughly for you. Thank you for this lovely review.
