Professor Robert Jones is professional, friendly, and reassuring, giving clear explanations to patients. Patients report excellent and faultless experiences, feeling comfortable and at ease. He shows outstanding surgical skill for gallbladder removal and hernia repair. These procedures often use laparoscopic key-hole surgery.
A really good experience from the moment I arrived for my procedure until I left later the same day.
From the first consultation to discharge, the service provided was outstanding, professor Robert Jones' manner was so reassuring yet humourous and everything was explained brilliantly
I chose Professor Rob Jones for my recent hernia surgery after researching specialists in my area. Rob has got lots of experience in this field and it felt like the right choice. From my initial consultation I was made to feel at ease and given enough information to make an informed decision. Rob is thorough and has a laid back approach, which made my consultation less nerve wracking. He listened to my concerns and was able to offer me a date for surgery to suit my needs. I had a good post op recovery due to the fact I was given a list of do’s and don’t’s to follow. My scar is neat and minimal, which, although might sound vain, was one of my initial concerns. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Rob and should I need any further surgery in the future I would be more than happy to be under Rob’s care again.
I had recent surgery under the care of Professor Robert Jones.. From the initial consultation to my post op follow up today his care has been exceptional; his warm and genuine compassion put me at complete ease and I felt in very safe hands throughout the whole process. Medical information and my options were explained very well and time was taken to ensure I understood everything properly. I would have no hesitation in recommending him and his team. Thank you sincerely for the high standard of care.
I chose Prof. Jones for a double sports hernia repair because of his first class reputation and I couldn’t have been in better hands. Highly recommended.
Robert Jones was excellent throughout the process, professional but grounded. Explained everything well and did a great job of the surgery. Thank you.
Professor Robert Jones was excellent in every aspect. He explained everything and answered all my questions. Operation a great success.
Professor Rob Jones was friendly, professional and put my mind at ease about everything. The op to repair a hernia went very well and the scar is only small and neat. The team at the Spire were really lovely too. Overall it was a smooth stress free procedure so thank you. Would highly recommend.

Thankyou, that's kind.
Genuinely a nice bloke! All great with operation. Back to full strength 6 weeks later. Really pleased I had my hernia sorted.

Ah thank you. Lovely comments. And glad to pass the "nice bloke" test 😂😂
In the last 12 months, I’ve seen over 10 consultants who were unable to resolve my symptoms. Professor Jones diagnosed the issue, within 4 weeks I was booked in for surgery. Everything went smoothly and after years of suffering, I finally have some relief. I have ADHD and appreciate things being carefully explained. Professor Jones took his time in explaining and patiently answered any questions I had. I would definitely recommend him to my family and friends

That's lovely to hear. Thankyou. I'm very glad we got you fixed!
