Dr Rea explained pain in fibromyalgia so brilliantly it helped me understand more about this condition that is misunderstood. I could have listened to him all day with what he was talking about. I came away after not expecting a great deal to having a better understanding about why I feel like I do. Dr Rea also sent me more information via email. I waited a year for this appointment and felt frustrated it took so long, however it was worth the wait due to what I learnt at this appointment.

Dr Rea was friendly, efficient and communicated really well. Didn't try to blind me with science, but neither did he treat me as a 'numpty'. It's good to know that I've been listened to and there's a plan in place. Appointment was pretty much on time, so not too much hanging around. Thank goodness for our NHS!

I visited Dr Bill Rea last years when I was suffering horrendous chronic daily pain. I had seen many GP's and consultants but this was the first time i felt listened too. This was so important to feel heard and validated, especially feeling that other practitioners didnt always listen and dismissed me and my pain. Dr Rea was patient, listened and allowed time for my emotions without rushing me. I have seen him again, but my condition is much improved following an operation, he still listened allowed me time to discuss my 'journey' and helped me feel more positive about moving forward.

It makes the biggest difference to be listened to and feel confident in any advice and recommendations given. I have spent years in hospitals and come across many drs/ specialists but few have taken the time and consideration Dr Rea has. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him

My appointment with Dr Rea was very helpful. After many treatments at Glos Hosp I now understand my OAB problem more and hopefully with the continuous medication he has prescribed I might begin to feel better soon

I felt really listened to. Dr had an emphany with my issues. Was not rushed. Very professional and friendly. Plans put in place to see if my quality of life can be improved.
