Spire Dunedin Hospital

All the staff were very pleasant and helpful. I was very well looked after.

It was fine

The parking can be a bit hit and miss but today there were plenty of free spaces which was a relief. The main reception staff were friendly and professional as was the nurse/receptionist in Outpatients. The waiting area was clean and tidy with refreshments available. An added bonus was that there was aircon...a very welcome addition during the hot weather.

A pleasant visit

Very helpful staff and a clean environment, however the Hospital was slightly difficult to navigate, some better signage would be good.

An excellent experience. Caring and helpful staff. Nothing is too much trouble for them.

The nursing staff both Charlie and Stefano were both professional, caring and diligent nurse. It was by far the best nursing experience on the ward that I have ever experienced at the Spire so Thank you to both of those individuals. The only feedback I would like to give purely for constructive purposes only is the Individual who deals with taking the sandwiches/snacks order on the Ward I was on the 08/05/26 under Dr Ravindran It’s not the first time I’ve met this individual and to be honest I’ve never had a particularly good experience I find them very sharp, short and just wants to take the order leave as quickly as possible. I have never been offered a full selection of what’s available it’s only when you ask questions that they offer extra items which I found very confusing and odd. I know catering is a very small thing and I am grateful for you offering me anything to be honest but it does not leave a good impression. I hear this individual talking to the nursing staff in the main ward totally different so I would urge them when they do speak to patients please treat them exactly the same and not be so sharp and quick to leave. It has taken me a long time to give this feedback because I’ve always tried to brush it off but I have always received consistently the same issue so please use this as a constructive learning point to improve patient experience. Lastly unsure why the Spire hospital would give crisps instead of salad like you use. Whilst the crisps were yummy Please could you consider reverting back to healthy salad option thank you. I had a highly satisfactory experience at Spire Dunedin hospital. All the staff I saw were kind and caring, as well thorough. I felt very well cared for. Thank you.
