About Dr Sunila Jog
Dr Sunila Jog is a highly experienced Consultant Paediatrician with over two decades of experience. She has a special interest in paediatric respiratory medicine, allergy, rheumatology, and neonatology.
She gained her primary medical qualification in 1995 and has since gone on to undertake a variety of roles both in the UK and overseas, including two years supporting the Flying Doctors in Australia by providing critical care to babies being transported across the country.
Dr Jog has helped to develop respiratory and neonatal services at Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital and through various management roles has influenced strategy to improve patient care and experience.
She provides bespoke and child-centred treatment plans for children and their families to support healthy living. This is based at the Spire Southampton Hospital, Spire Clare Park Hospital , Farnham, Spire Dunedin hospital, Reading and at the Candover Clinic, Basingstoke.
In addition to General Paediatric clinics, Dr Jog offers one stop speciality clinics including assessment of a wide range of respiratory issues, allergy clinics , neonatal and joint problems in children. She offers various investigations such as FeNO test , Spirometry and skin prick test.
Sunila has a busy practice, but she offers holistic, genuine and child focused care. She believes it is a privilege to treat children and families and finds her work extremely rewarding.

Dr Jog was attentive on our two visits to see her with our son. She was able to put our 7 year old son at ease when she examined him. She was reassuring to me and my partner but showed urgency to organise a follow up diagnostic test at the earliest possible opportunity to rule out any sinister underlying causes of the symptom. She phoned around to get my son the earliest appointment she could and was able to organise the scan and follow up consultation on the same afternoon for our family meaning multiple long trips were not needed. Dr Jog is a credit to her profession and her manor was excellent with our son and us as parents. She is one of the best we have come across. Keep it up!
Dr Jog was very pleasant, friendly and professional. She built up a good rapport with our son, was very efficient and was very good at communicating and reassuring us.
Dr. Jog is truly an exceptional doctor. As a mother, every visit with her makes me feel even more confident and reassured about my son’s care. She is incredibly thorough with her examinations and always takes the time to explain the exact problem clearly, which makes us feel informed, satisfied, and at ease. What I appreciate most is her attention to detail — she notices things that others might easily overlook. This time, we visited her for one concern, but she pointed out something completely different that I had totally ignored. Moments like these are exactly why I trust her so much with my son’s health. It is truly a blessing to find a doctor you can trust completely. We are so thankful to you, Dr. Jog ❤️
