Mr Jaffer gave clear and concise explanations in a kindly manner of the post procedure position and what would happen now. He also took time to answer any questions we had.

I am always asking questions, and Mr Jaffer took the time to answer all of them. The procedure Mr Jaffer carried out was HoLEP. His bedside manner before and after surgery was excellent. I had no pain whatsoever immediately after the surgery, and my water stream was powerful from day 1 post surgery and still is. All very successful.

My oversized prostate was causing havoc with my ability to lead a normal life - I could never be too far from a bathroom. Eventually I was referred to Mr Jaffer, who I saw at Spire Manchester. Mr Jaffer suggested I may benefit from HoLEP. His manner is superb; extremely professional and knowledgeable whilst being friendly and down to earth. The procedure was explained along with any and all post procedural possibilities. I had the procedure done quite quickly and it has made a massive difference to my life: I no longer feel the need to be near to a bathroom and am now able to lead a normal existence. I cannot praise Mr Jaffer and his team enough: each and every member of staff that I dealt with was tremendous, and the hospital itself is well equipped and spotless. Many, many thanks to all concerned.

I am delighted with the outcome of my prostate holep operation, which took place in February, and with the medical and support processes in place. The operation was successful and, after a relatively short recovery time of 2-3 weeks, I was able to return to normal activity and a very much improved urinary function. The guidance and support from the consultant was exemplary, as was the follow up support from nursing and other staff.
